Primed Art Boards - Square/Rectangle

Our Square/Rectangle Primed art boards are double primed on the top and sides with a light sand in between coats to get the best possible finish, meaning you can get creating with no further preparation.  These Primed art panels are perfect for all types of mediums including Alcohol Ink, acrylics, oils, watercolours, flow mediums and other mixed media. These primed boards are what we use in our workshops as they are solid and sturdy enough for pouring resin and will not sag, therefore preventing the resin from pooling. The sides are sanded to a smooth finish so you almost can’t tell where the top timber meets the frame timbers and the top edge has a 3mm rounded edge.

All of our square/rectangle, arch and hex Primed art boards feature a 37mm side profile.  Total depth of the board is 37mm (32mm frame, 5mm top) making it a great depth if you are adding a floating frame. (see Floating Frames on our website).  Any board larger than 50cm will have corner and centre bracing included. The support backing measures 32x18mm for boards up to 80cm and 32x32mm for anything above 80cm.
