Aluminium Art Boards Black - Hexagon

Who doesn't love a hexagonal piece of art? Our aluminium art boards have been developed for artists who love to work with super smooth surfaces. The Black surface is great for any medium as it allows acrylic or oil paints to spread easily. They are also perfect for Alcohol Ink as they mimic the surface of Yupo paper only the surface is hard.  Once you complete your art work you can seal it or better still, being a solid panel, you can add a thin layer of epoxy resin. 
Our handmade aluminium art boards and are 3mm thick with a .3mm aluminium skin top (not the thin .2mm panel you find in hardware stores)  

The boards are lightweight but heavy duty and are bonded to the stabilising support backing to ensure your surface is kept straight and flat while you work and even to make hanging your art easier.

Our hex aluminium boards have a total depth of 15mm (3mm aluminium and 12mm backing).

***Please note that we do not recommend isopropyl alcohol flow over the edge of the board as the solvent may weaken how the glue bonds between the frame and the panel.
