Have you heard of Poplar?  Did you know the Mona Lisa by Leonardo Da Vinci is an oil painting on an Italian Poplar painting surface?

These painting panels are perfect for a variety of mediums including but not limited to resin art, acrylic paints, oil paints and more.

The Italian Poplar art boards are a lighter weight than other surfaces, much more comparable to the weight of a stretched canvas.

Our Poplar art panel’s top surface is made with 6mm thick A Grade Italian Poplar and is then bonded to a stabilising support backing frame made from premium grade kiln dried pine.

The Arch Poplar boards have a 12mm mdf support backing ring so total depth of the board is 18mm (12mm frame, 6mm top)
